FABERGE JEWELLED GUILLOCHE AND CHAMPLEVE ENAMEL GOLD PHOTO FRAME

Of slightly oval (nearly circular) form, the body enameled in translucent blue over a sunburst guilloche ground,
within a diamond-set gold bezel enameled with alternating white bands, the outer border chased with the gold laurel band,
the ivory back (see note below) with a gold scroll strut and suspension loop
Marked Faberge in Cyrillic, workmaster’s mark of Henrik Wigstrom and 56 Russian gold standard
Height 2 11/16 in. (6,8 cm), width 2 1/2 in. (6,4 cm)
Good condition. The original ivory back plate has two small vertical cracks near the right and left edges (see image 3).
Due to the United States regulations on ivory, the original ivory back plate (see image 4 and 5) has been replaced with a back plate made out of an ivory-like synthetic material, similar in appearance (see images 8 and 9). We still have the original ivory back plate.
