In original Faberge wooden case
The shaped trapezoid form silver stand centering a detachable cut-glass inkwell,
the front corners cast with theatrical masks draped with foliate festoons and ribbons, incurved pen-rest,
the heavy glass well cut with star pattern, the hinged domed lid with laurel wreath finial,
Marked K. Faberge in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant and 84 Russian silver standard,
scratched inventory numbers 31225 (domed lid) and 38391 (bottom of the base)
Width (foot to foot) 8 in. (20,3 cm), depth (foot to foot) 8 1/2 in. (21,6 cm), height (top of finial) 7 3/4 in. (19,7 cm)
CONDITION:
Light wear, a few minor chips to the cut-glass well, front left foot is slightly pitched forward (visible on image 7).
Good overall condition. Wear to the wooden box consistent with age.
