The body painted with blue strapwork within polychrome stylized foliage below an ogee shaped rim,
the spoon similarly decorated
Marked in Cyrillic Grachev with a maker’s mark AP and 88 Russian silver standard
Height (including handle) 4 1/2 in. (11,5 cm), length of spoon 6 1/8 in. (15,6 cm)
CONDITION:
Some scratching to the bottom, wear consistent with age, good overall condition
NOTE:
An almost identical tea glass holder was sold on June 12, 2008 at Sotheby’s London for £16,250.
