Carved of nephrite with a circular bowl, the interior enameled in translucent red over a wavy guilloche ground,
with hatches radiating from a central rosette, the handle formed as a toucan’s head with cabochon ruby-set eyes
Marked Fabergé in Cyrillic, workmaster’s mark of Anders Nevalainen and 88 Russian silver standard
Length 3 5/16 in. (8,4 cm), height (highest point) 1 3/16 in. (3 cm)
CONDITION:
Some wear and scratching to the silver-gilt band around the kovsh (image 6), as well as to the bottom of the kovsh due to age and use. Good overall condition.
